We understand that clients may read the profile of a Clinician and desire to work with them. We try our best to honor all client requests to be matched with the Clinician of their choice. However, at times due to Clinician availability we may not be able to match you with the Clinician of your choice. We will discuss an alternate Clinician with you if that happens.

Absolutely! Embrace Peace was founded  to uplift and empower people of color, recognizing the unique challenges they face in accessing mental health care. We understand that finding clinicians who truly appreciate cultural values and experiences is crucial for healing.

However, our diverse team of providers bring not only expertise but also a heartfelt passion for connecting with individuals from all backgrounds. We welcome clients from all gender identities, sexual orientations, ethnic and religious backgrounds, and general walks of life to join us on this journey toward wellness and growth.

Expect a safe, supportive environment where you can express yourself freely and work towards your personal goals. Because each person has different issues and goals for therapy, therapy will be different depending on the individual. In general, you can expect to discuss the current events happening in your life, your personal history relevant to your issue, and report progress (or any new insights gained) from the previous therapy session. Depending on your specific needs, therapy can be short-term, for a specific issue, or longer-term, to deal with more difficult patterns or your desire for more personal development.

Therapy sessions can vary based on individual need. Typically therapy sessions are 45mins and occur on a weekly basis. However, therapy is not one size fits all so the frequency and length of sessions ca vary. Sessions can be up to 60mins and may occur on a bi-weekly basis. Once you begin working with a Clinican you will make a plan that is right for your needs.
