But when we tell our story we free ourselves from unhealed wounds. Telling our story helps us to find our strength and recognize our resiliency through difficult times. Emotional well-being is one of the most important parts of an individual's life. Unfortunately it is a part of life that we often forget to take care of. We all deserve to enjoy the lives we live. You are worthy of a life you can enjoy! I have been in the social work field for over 20 years. I have a passion for helping others work towards achieving the life they desire. In my career I have focused on supporting people of color engage in mental health treatment and reduce the stigma around receiving services. I specialize in working with individuals impacted by trauma, women dealing with life issues, individuals dealing with acculturation issues, parenting struggles and life transitions. Throughout my career I have worked in a number of settings and gained a wealth of knowledge. As I have grown in my career I have expanded my focus to teaching and training. Through the creation of my practice I have been able to support the training of BIPOC clinicians. I am proud to contribute to the availability of highly skilled clinicians of color. Our work has been able to impact many people who have successfully engaged in treatment for the first time. My hope is to continue to grow the practice and offer individuals a space where they can feel seen and heard by people who are representative of them.
Justine Hale, LMHC-D

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with adults, children, families and couples. I utilize an integrative approach with clients, framing therapy based on an individual’s needs at that time. My specialties include anxiety, depression, substance- use, trauma and transitional life periods. As a clinician, I understand that attending therapy can be a difficult step, so I emphasize the therapeutic relationship- aiming to create a safe and supportive space for all. I am a LGBTQI+ ally who takes a holistic approach, acknowledging all factors as it relates to an individual. I recognize that every individual is different, and with meeting with me, I will work collaboratively to help to foster the best environment for self-growth.
Arantxa Bobb, LMSW

Arantxa ( Uh-ran-sha) Bobb has been in the field of social work for over 15 years, working with Adults, children and families through various capacities in the non-profit sector of Child Welfare, Mental Health and Education Advocacy. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Ithaca College and thereafter, she pursued her Masters in Social Work at Fordham University. A lot of her work has been focused on giving back to the community through the various avenues of mental health support and uplifting Black and Brown people. Arantxa is passionate about creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients. She believes that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing, and she strives to empower her clients to find their own paths to wellness. Her goal as a clinician is to encourage, motivate and support her clients in identifying their goals, wants and needs in order to make small changes in their own lives. Arantxa’s hope is that every client that crosses paths, with her as their therapist, experiences a level of comfort, openness and support to honestly communicate life’s changes without judgment.
Tornishia Destin, LCSW

Tornishia is a highly skilled and compassionate licensed clinical social worker. She obtained her  Master of Social Work degree from the prestigious Fordham University, which is renowned for its forward-thinking approach to social work education. As a clinician, Tornishia is deeply committed to creating an environment that serves as a sanctuary for her clients – one that is both safe and without judgment. Her practice is rooted in the belief that every individual deserves a client-centered space, where their unique needs and challenges are addressed with empathy and respect. The tranquil atmosphere she fosters is conducive to exploring and overcoming the various obstacles that may be affecting a person’s mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Throughout her career, Tornishia has amassed a wealth of experience working with a diverse clientele. She has successfully supported individuals struggling with a wide range of issues, including depression and anxiety, which can often feel overwhelming and isolating. She is adept at guiding her clients through life transitions, whether they are navigating career changes, coping with loss, or adjusting to new stages of life. Additionally, Tornishia is skilled at helping people resolve interpersonal relationship conflicts, enabling her clients to cultivate healthier and more fulfilling connections with those around them.
Yas'Mean Morton, LMSW

Yas'mean Morton is a licensed social worker. Yas'mean is dedicated to helping assist families and individuals of all ages work through their traumas, establish coping strategies, develop boundaries and become self sufficient.  Yas'mean believes that everyone needs a safe and healing environment to work through life challenges, thus she has created a non-judgmental (virtual) office for her clients. Yas'mean believes that her clients are the expert of their lives and allows the client to have a voice in each and every session.  Yas'mean understands that every client is special and unique, and explores ways that her and the client can form a partnership in order to help combat their hardships.

I am a social worker committed to trauma-informed care, drawing on my work with individuals facing life’s toughest challenges. My passion for supporting adolescent youth has been a guiding force throughout my journey, shaping my approach to creating spaces where young people feel heard, supported, and empowered in their healing process. I believe in recognizing each person’s strength and resilience, working together to develop strategies that foster growth and well-being. I assist individuals through life changes, helping them manage adversity and find balance during difficult times. I strive to offer culturally competent, holistic care that supports clients in every aspect of their well-being. Bria Spencer is a Licensed Mental Health Clinician with 14 years of experience counseling families, children, and individuals while working in the fields of general preventive care, family and children counseling, mental health, end-of-life planning, and hospice care.  Bria is also the owner of Body By Bria LLC, where she recognizes that women struggle with identifying what being healthy looks like and empowers them utilizing a solution based-approach in reaching their fitness and nutritional goals as a certified personal trainer. Bria expanded her mental health skills utilizing her Millennial Babes Podcast as a platform for individuals to increase their knowledge about mental health, learn how to cope with loss, relationships, and how to navigate life with purpose. Bria’s sole mission is to inspire, uplift, and impact lives in a positive way teaching three keys: letting go, being a visionary, and taking action.
Danisha Nicole Bailey, MFT

Danisha is dedicated to creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can safely explore their emotions and work toward meaningful change. Trained in the Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1) and experienced in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy, she tailors her approach to meet the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, Danisha works from a systemic perspective, helping clients see how patterns within relationships and family systems shape their experiences and growth. She is also a certified Prepare/Enrich facilitator, helping couples strengthen communication, deepen connection, and build healthy foundations. She is committed to breaking down stigmas around therapy for people of color and believes in the transformative power of healing, emotional safety, and authentic connection.

My name is Taylor Thomas and I have a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges and empowering them to reconnect with their strengths. I earned my undergraduate from Syracuse University and my master’s from Hunter College. As a social worker, for the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with at risk youth and individuals who were involved with the justice and family regulation system. In this time, I've worked with individuals and couples facing anxiety, depression, complex trauma, PTSD, personality and cognitive disorders, substance use, and relationship struggles. My approach is flexible and down-to-earth. I draw from a variety of proven methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, family systems, mindfulness practices, and psychodynamic work, but every client is different — and therapy should reflect that. Whether you're looking to process old wounds, build healthier habits, or just find a little more peace in your day-to-day life, my goal is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you.
